One thing about the pepper it smells like beef stew when it gets circulating good. So was going to get by, well it plugged the heater core right up. I used some liquid Bars leak stop on a Dodge truck last year, I was in a hurry had a heater core leaking was hauling cattle. I was always told coarse ground black pepper in school. “These are the times that try men's souls.” Get yourself some of the Conklin product called "Dyke". I use Irontite from NAPA for a leaking radiator in my 1066 a long time ago, still ain't leaking yet. Works perfect, but if you ever drain the radiator to put new antifreeze in, you will have to put some more in. They have to answer to Deere and did some fanagaling to satisfy you. Out of warranty means out of warranty, your dealer didn't have to install new radiator. They could have just done the right thing and replaced the factory defect without making a big fuss, Some people just do things the hard way I guess. ![]() Tech came put new rad in and saw top tub was not crimped properly. Dealer balked about it at first told him no problem I will fix myself and when i trade down the road he will not be my trading dealer.
